So tonite, Zoe was playing in her sandbox and just jabbering away like always. I decided to try and get a candid video of her playing - just because it's so cute and I want to freeze this moment in time. I was able to get about a 3 minute video before she saw me there with camera. I snapped a couple shots of her when I noticed she was burying her dinosaurs heads in the sand. This seemed out of the norm for her kind of play, so I asked her why their heads were in the sand. She responded with:
"The dinosaurs don't like the camera"
Perhaps this is why she wouldn't look at the camera and give me a good cheese-picture. I should feel bad and stop dragging the camera out so often... but I don't. Instead, I find it cute and even more reason to take more pictures. It's good to focus in on the details, though, to preserve the personality she has today.
