Fun at Uncle Rob's Farm

We were so lucky to arrive in Indiana on Wednesday right after their first real snow fall of the year. Zoe enjoyed playing at Uncle Rob and Aunt Gloria's farm. She was taken outside our first night there, in this picture, it was around 9pm and 3 degrees. Her and Uncle Robbie had fun throwing the snow around. Thanks to Aunt Gloria, she had a complete snow suit, boots, mittens, hat - the whole gear to keep her dry and warm.

She went on several rides with Betty and the whole time she'd be saying "I ride horsey, I hold tight!". She did a great job, after a short time, she decided she preferred to hold her hands up and just balance - even up and down the hills. She saw deer, they got scared and ran away - but she keeps telling me about them "I see deer, they run away - it's ok, Zoe, we find them". She also was taken on several sled rides, Uncle Rob ran her around and around and around and she loved it!

While we were in Indiana, we went to Pa and Nancy's and celebrated Christmas with them. She got lots of fun toys... NOISY toys! As I sit here typing this, she's got her penguin dance mat going along with the loudest tune of "Jingle Bells" ever sung by a penguin before.
It was a really nice visit. She got to know her cousins, Uncle Rob and Aunt Gloria in the few days we were there, which is exactly what I wanted for this trip. Thank you, Grabers, for taking time out of your week for us. We loved being there and miss you all! Girls, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed spending time with both of you and I just hope that Zoe turns out to be such a sweet young lady as both of you have become.
