This past month, Zoe's vocabulary has grown rapidly, she holds conversations with us and is really growing into a sweet little girl. Of course, what else would I say, though, huh?
She's learning to play the Memory Game and often asks us if we "want to play a game, Mommy?" It holds her interest for about 20 minutes and then she's off to the next thing.
She really enjoys playing with other kids. The past month, she's gotten to spend some time with her second-cousins, Lynette and Jessica. She asks us if she can "go play with kids?"
She likes doing photo shoots... for now. It doesn't last long, but she'll at least sit and smile a couple times for us - and she knows we need the chair. "Take pictures? I get chair, be right back".
I think her favorite toy currently would have to be her babydoll. She's such a little momma, loves babies and caring for them. She gets their "paciFYer and milk" and feeds her and carries her around. I don't think Daddy is too pleased with her love of babies, I think it scares him a little. She also enjoys books, cars, trucks, dirt, helping with dishes, cooking, vacuuming (as long as it's not the big loud one), flash cards, crayons, anything that's mommy's, and her dog and cat.
Looking back over the month, I don't think she's gotten very many time-outs, so that would lead me to believe she's been overall a pretty good girl this month. About the only time she's getting time-outs is when she hits the dog or doesn't leave the cat alone.
She loves to sing and dance - still with the penguins! We have the soundtrack for "Happy Feet" and she likes to listen to a couple of the songs and dance with me in the living room. A real work out, for sure! She's learned "Ring Around Rosie" and wants to do that all the time, especially the "hold hands, Mommy, fall down, Mommy". She also has started singing "Old McDonald had a Zoe, EIEIO" I blame Dave for that one... There are several other songs that she attempts to sing from the morning show she watches "Backyardigans". And she's trying to learn her alphabet, I think mostly because she likes to sing the song "ABCDEFG - next time sing meeee".
"Please, thank you, you're welcome" are constants. She is always so polite to our servers at restaurants or the check out clerk at stores. In restaurants, she now asks for her drink like we do "I want 'l-ade" (for lemonaid). She also helps get her drinks from the refridgerator - she's been doing that for months, though. She opens the door, gets out the milk (or juice), gets her cup (from where ever she might have left it during the last drink run) and if we haven't gotten to the kitchen yet, she'll come and help us up and lead us by the hand to pour it for her.
Like I say every month, I'm sure... she's such a joy and gives us reasons to laugh and smile daily, if not hourly. I'm very thankful and blessed by her and her Daddy.
Love to all,
Zoe's Mommy

She is a beautiful little girl and I love the "curly hair" Wow, that has to come from her daddy's side as we Amstutz's don't have a "curly" hair in our family.
Enjoy Indiana.......Brrrrrrrrrrrr
