Mother's Day Recap

I actually slept in until close to 7am this morning when Zoe and Dave walked in, her saying "HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!" holding a present, a wrapped art project and a card. She handed me the card first. She colored swirls on it and signed her own name, and did a very good job at that!

The art project I shared earlier in the post this morning. The present was the below Swatch watch that she picked out for me. I gave them the hint that I loved these watches in high school and had recently found out they still made them and how cute they were (and reminded Dave several times).

After a lovely breakfast of Krispy Kreme sprinkled donuts, we headed out to the movies, took Zoe to see Star Trek - our second time seeing it this weekend. We just had to see it again on the big screen before they moved it to one of the smaller screens at the theater. (Yes, I have trouble keeping my eyes open when Dave takes a picture. Oh well, it was a cute shot of Zoe in her seat)

We spent the rest of the day hanging out around the house. For supper, Dave went and got a pizza and we played a little on the Wii.
