I'm very excited to report that last night I was successful in moving Zoe to go to sleep in her own bed and stay there (at least until 4:30 when I left this morning, she was still sound asleep). I gave her the option that she could put any stuffed animal or doll in bed with her to have a slumber party. When I went in after I got my jammies on - her bed was LOADED UP! Chrissy was right beside her, along with several other dolls and stuffed animals.
She came in our room around midnight to go potty - I know this because she turns the main bathroom light on and it's BRIGHT! Afterwards, I expected her to climb into our bed - but she didn't. She went back to her own bed and I snuck in a few minutes later to be sure she went to her bed and wasn't playing. She appeared to be sound asleep.
She came back in about 30 minutes later, went to my window seat, got inside the curtain and just looked outside - Dave and I both sat up and watched her for about 2 minutes wondering what she was doing. We went over and asked her and she was just looking at the moon, it was smiling at her... then I walked her back to bed and opened her curtain a little so the moon could keep smiling at her. That was the end of it, she fell back to sleep... she might have even been sleep walking, I'm not sure. This morning, she explained to her Daddy that she was watching for people but there were no people out there.
