New School

As Zoe was about to move into the 3-Year Old's room, we decided it was a good time to have her change schools to one that's closer to our new house. Her first day went pretty good, although she was exhausted - I'm sure it was just a lot of new experiences for her little self. We had dinner early and bedtime came at 8pm.

The new school has several different playgrounds, the one right outside of her regular room is set up like a little city with bikes and a filling station. She loves this! They also have a little splash pad for water days, which she'll have every Thursday for a few more weeks. They serve hot lunches so we no longer have to pack her lunch every morning, this is a welcome break for Dave, for sure! She's going to be exposed to a nice variety of foods, all are cooked there at the school and they do not use pre-processed foods. For her first day, they had minestrone soup, cheese sandwiches, bananas and crispex cereal for the afternoon snack. I think she ate some of everything today!

She wasn't ready to go home when I got there, she was still playing with the baby dolls and the little kitchen. This is a good sign. And when I asked her if she'd like to go back there in the morning, she quickly answered yes!

Sounds like a good move, don't worry if she don't eat much when it is this hot nothing taste good. If she is hungry she will find something she likes. I like the idea of the misty spray etc, keeps them cool.
It is good it is closer to home. good choice......
