Ian Comes to Play

Tonite Zoe got a special treat. Her friend, Ian, came to play for a few hours. They started out by watching Ian's favorite show, Oswald, to help ease the tension of him being dropped off by his Daddy. After one episode, I got them interested in blocks and other toys and was able to turn the tv off. Both kids really enjoyed spending the evening together. For dinner, we had mac and cheese, veggies, apple slices and grapes. After dinner, a storm started to roll in and both kids stood at the window watching the wind and sprinkles of rain. Later in the evening, after Zoe's daddy got home, we headed up to Zoe's room to play with her train set. Ian had a blast making the electric train go around and around.
