I think Zoe is adjusting better than Mommy! I got there tonite and she was outside playing in the little city. It took her a few minutes to even notice I was there. She quickly came over, gave me a hug and went back to playing. They were riding bikes around the city, stopping to fill them up at the pretend gas station, and as they drove past the teacher, she was squirting them with water. Oh, and they also have a misting system and canopy set up over this particular play area. She played another 20 minutes while I watched and talked to one of the teachers. Finally, I had to tell her it was time to go, even though she wasn't ready. She's such a dilly-dallyer sometimes. I headed for the door and said good-bye to her - she finally followed me out.
She didn't do so well with lunch today, only eating her fruit. The main course was chicken enchilada casserole... yes, it may take her a little time to adjust to other foods outside of the PB&J realm. I made her dinner as soon as we got home tonite! She did get a snack after naptime and I honestly don't think she'll ever go hungry there.
Nap also didn't go so well today - they said she didn't sleep and coughed through naptime.
They said she's adjusting very well and playing and having fun. They also commented again today that they are constantly having to remind her to put her shoes back on. I really don't know if they'll break her of that habit. Dave and I are both people that take our shoes off at the first opportunity, we also have a shoes off policy in the new house.
Zoe's bath time and bedtime came early again tonite. I think bedtime is going to come early for Mommy, too! Good-night!
