We just couldn't wait to get her birthday present this year (ok, Mommy couldn't wait). Once we decided (ok, Daddy decided) that we weren't going to go to San Diego Sea World or Zoo, I was ready to start shopping for her gift. We both loved this playhouse, but were worried that they'd be sold out by the time her birthday rolled around, so we got it.
Daddy went and got it (because there wasn't room in the car for the house AND Zoe) and thought we'd be able to set it up while she was napping and surprise her. To his surprise, she wasn't napping and as soon as I brought her out to the garage, she saw the roof of the house and said "HOUSE?!" Sorry, Daddy, no surprising this little girl.
As it turned out, Zoe had a lot of fun helping her daddy put the house together. She held on to screws and tried to hammer pieces into place (even when they were already in place).
She loves going in and out and in and out of the house. We have it set up in the computer/game room/craft room. Later in the evening, she started moving her toys into the house. She loaded it up to where there was no room to walk inside. I went in and straightened up for her.
I'm sure we have many, many fun adventures ahead of us in this house.
