BBQ and Swimming with our Friends

On Sunday, we were invited over to the Marler's for swimming and BBQ. On a hot summer day in the desert, who could resist that offer? We really like hanging out in their backyard with them and when Zoe was asked if she wanted to go see Ian, she responded with an emphatic "YES" and nodded her head.

She's got a new swimming suit on, one with the blow up floaties that you zip inside the suit. This gives her much more maneuverability with her arms, she figured that out right away.

For the first time, Daddy lifted her up and dropped her without catching her, letting her go underwater. She did great! She came up, a little surprised, but went right back to swimming around. This picture is actually the 2nd time he did it, she lost her hat this time.



















A little one sure gets an appetite after swimming. Zoe got to have Cheeto's for the first time, too. Traci fixed the kids a nice plate of grapes, cucumbers, crackers and Cheeto's. Her grapes weren't enough, though, she always has to steal Ian's grapes, too. Shortly after this picture, she got her own plate... but continued to take Ian's grapes.
