A few weeks ago, we took Zoe to her school's Family Fun Night. One of the activities was planting seeds in a cup of dirt. She scooped the dirt and then planted 3 different bean seeds. She's been very carefully watering her dirt and watching for signs of growth. Over the past week - this has emerged:
We've been taking pictures of it every day so that she can see how quickly it grows into a bean plant. The 2nd one is also starting to sprout, so we will need to transplant them soon, I think.

Very good little farmer, Grandpa Amstutz (farm) would be proud also.
Have some fun, buy a sweet potato, cut the bottom of it off, set it in a jar or container, keep it in water and she will be surprised what a vine she can grow quickly, who knows she might plant the vines when big enought and get a crop of sweet potatoes......
Thanks
Aunt Sis
