Zoe and I both got up at 5:30 to start prepping the bird to be sure it was done in time for our 1pm meal. I found a yummy and easy recipe in a magazine for a butter rub combined with fresh rosemary, thyme and garlic.
In it goes…
And 4 hours later, perfection.
Dave watched a video of Bobby Flay and how he cuts off the entire breasts and slices them up - made for a beautiful plated meat tray.
Everything is just about ready to pile on the plates!
Yes, this was even tastier than it looks! It was so juicy and tender, not to brag, but I did good for my first bird! I will be happy to do this every year, I thoroughly enjoyed cooking for my relatives here in Arizona!

I am so proud of you that was "Picture Perfect" I don't think in all my years doing the dreaded turkey that I had one look so good on the platter. Good Job. and in years to come Zoe will be at the helm.....
