BEFORE (Taken back in September, showing the lack of space in her room to play)
Zoe helped with the decision to sell her Little Tikes house, kitchen and doll furniture. She hasn't been playing with the house much at all and hasn't touched the kitchen since we move over a year ago. When she saw me checking out wooden kitchens online, she asked if she could have a new kitchen. I explained that once we sold all of her big toys she wasn't playing with, we could buy the kitchen. She helped me pick it out.
We spent the morning cleaning her room (I should have taken a before picture), anxiously awaiting the Fed Ex delivery of her new kitchen.

When the package did arrive, she came running through the house (Lannie lets us know when there's a delivery) "MY PACKAGE!"
There were so many pieces... sooo very many pieces.
Zoe was a good helper while I read the instructions and constructed her new kitchen. We stayed in our jammies all morning while we worked.
I was still putting in the last few screws and pieces when she began cooking soup for us. And then, of course, going back and putting in the extra screws that I had missed the first time through. We ended up having a place for every single piece and part. I think she was pretty happy about the kitchen.
And while she napped, I finished pulling her room together. She was very surprised and excited when she woke up.
