I'm so very proud of her... she stopped playing at the Marler's pool to let us know she had to go peepee yesterday. So we rushed inside, found Ian's potty seat and she successfully used the potty! Then tonite, at Target, she told us she had to go. I didn't think she'd be able to wait until we got home, but she did!! She wouldn't go for me, but once Daddy took her in to the bathroom, she potty'd on the big potty with her seat. This is a huge step for us since she hasn't pee'd inside our house until tonite.
Her reward - a fruit popsicle (still referred to as "sticky") and some stickers.
6/30/08 - Update - Today at school, Zoe went #2 on the potty. And then at home, went pp in the potty for me. We also attempted to use the potty while out shopping tonite.
7/3/08 - Update - It's been 2 days since we've changed a diaper. She's successfully using the potty for all of her "business" - even our to-go potty in the car while we're out!

we can certainly empathize with your pride (and relief), even though it's been 28 years, thank g*d!!
now, if only those friggin' CATS would learn to use the big folks' potty . . .
