Ugh - it is impossible to get good "official chair" pictures any more.
She loves to sing and dance... loudly. She's going to be such a great thespian someday! The way she holds a note, closes her eyes, holds her arms out and shakes her hands... I'm not sure what that's all about but it sure looks like she needs to be on a stage.
She still is a very caring little girl. She took great care of Mommy last month during her recovery from surgery, always wanting to give kisses and bandages and reminding me that I can't pick her up or carry her. She's very sensitive to others needs and emotions.
She enjoys going to "school" and enjoys playing with her friends. She brings home songs and artwork. However, by Thursday, she's ready for some quality time at home with Mom and Dad... and Mondays have proven to be a little rougher on her than other days. But for the most part, she does pretty good at daycare.
Her most commonly used phrases these days:
"You never find it, it's gone forever" - anytime she loses something or takes something away from us.
"I love you guys" - said at bedtime or anytime she sees us hug or gives us a hug.
"I got som'pin in my shoe!" - said as she takes off her shoes, yet again, to look for the imaginary "something".
"Nice and neat" - said whenever she has fixed something or straightened something.
She's very polite at restaurants and orders her own drink and sometimes food "lemonade, please" and always remembers the "thank you" (after the gentle nudge from mom). She learned the difference between "sir" and "ma'am" after calling every server "sir".
She doesn't typically let me do her hair, but always seems to allow the girls at daycare to play with and fix up her hair. Once in a while I can get pig tails in, but they never last long.
Here's to another fun month!
Love to all,

I love the "pigs" as I called them 35 yrs ago, she is sooooooooooo cute in them and what a good way to keep the "tangles" out.
Zoe is growing into such a little lady, Kim, you and Dave have to be so proud of her.
God bless and keep all of you.
