Pumpkin Cleaning 101

The pictures say it all - Zoe learned how to clean out a pumpkin using a spoon. I tried to get her to reach down and grab the pulp and seeds and pull them out, but her response to me was "no hands". Now we wait for her and Daddy to carve the face out so that we can display it on the front porch on Halloween. We called Dave while he was working to tell him about the pumpkin - she kept saying "pumpkin pie, Daddy". If only I were that talented to be able to take the pulp and make it into a pie...mmmm. (We did take the time to seperate the seeds from the pulp to make a tasty snack for mommy and daddy.)
