We had a late night last night with Zoe’s swim meet, it was very difficult waking up this morning. I had planned to wake her at 6:06am to sing happy birthday to her, but I just couldn’t bring myself to waking her up. I did peak on her, so that kinda counts.
The blanket in her lap was a birthday gift from Grandma Nancy.

It did rain much of the day, but that kept the crowds down and allowed us to ride everything and enjoy everything… if a bit wet. Ms. Julie was kind enough to get all of us a fun rain cape.

After a very fun and wet day, we headed home. First, we had to stop off at Sonic and order junk to fill our bellies for a nice ride home. Zoe slept most of the way. What a fun 8th birthday!
