Pre-School Valentine's Day Party

Zoe and I spent the morning preparing for her Valentine's Day party at school. She put stickers on all the Happy Feet cards for her friends (we were told there'd be 26 kids total in her class today for the party!), I signed her name and we put stickers on a bunch of little tubs of Play dough for her friends. This was her first VDay party at school - so she was pretty excited!

Pa came over to go to the party with us. We had planned a few weeks ago to have a special Valentine's day with Pa - after the party, we were going out for lunch.

When it was Zoe's turn to put her cards and treat in the mailboxes, I helped her so that the teachers could call more kids up to help them. Amazingly enough, you'd be surprised how pokey 3.5 year olds are. After all the kids passed out their cards, the teachers called all the girls to a table, then all the boys. There are a lot more boys in Zoe's class, so some of them had to sit at the girls table.

We had a really fun time at Zoe's party. After she had a few snacks with her friends while they ate lunch, the teacher asked who wanted cookies. Of course, they all raised their hands. Zoe ate her cookie and then it was time for us to head to our special lunch with Pa. It was naptime for her classmates, so we made a quick exit.
