Can you believe she's almost two years old already? I sure can't. It is challenging to get her to cooperate for our monthly photo shoots, but it's fun to watch her run around. We tried to trick her this month with bubbles, telling her that if she sits in the chair, we'll let her blow the bubbles. In this photo, she's watching her Daddy blow some.
She's going to be a dancer, we think. She's been attempting to dance like the penguins in "Happy Feet" and does this all the time... ALL the time. She spins around in circles, tapping her feet, until she falls down from being so dizzy.
Favorite foods have not changed much this month, we can add cantaloupe to the list. Also, there's a new chip on the market called Flatearth, they're made with real veggies and fruits and disguised as chips. She loves the apple cinnamon ones. She has gotten into the habit of having snacks when we're at Target shopping, which we do a couple times a week now. "Nack? Nack?" (snack) "Ree?" (raisins) "Shishy?" (goldfish).
Her vocabulary and speech is improving, she's working more on pronouncing all the syllables and vowels, "bird" is now sounding like "bird" instead of "buh".
She's loves her Hop on Pop book and a few other "Word Window" books. She likes to point things out and name them, it almost seems like she's quizzing herself and then answering herself.
Swimming and taking walks are her favorite outdoor activities. She loves to investigate the flowers and bugs and rocks. She's really showing her desire for independence. She wants to do everything herself and try to do anything we're doing.
Zoe got her very first haircut right before this picture was taken. I cut about 6 of her bangs that were hanging in her eyes.
