Merry Christmas!

Click on the link on the right side of the page to watch the Christmas videos. There are 10, so grab some popcorn first.
Pictures have also been uploaded in the Burnette Family Christmas 2006 Album.

Christmas was celebrated on Christmas Eve in the Burnette household this year (Mommy had to work Christmas day, but I didn't know the difference). I came out and immediately noticed the presents under the tree and my eyes got real big. Of course, then I saw Lannie and had to say good morning to her, like I always do ("Hi Leelee"). What brought me back to focus on the presents was a little stuffed kitty peaking out of a gift bag. I went and got it and brought it over to Mommy "kitty kitty, hi kitty". Next, I sat down and grabbed the first present closest to me, which was the puzzle in this picture above. I opened the Little Leaps TouchPad and books from Uncle Rob and Aunt Gloria, the doll from Pa and Nancy, the portable potty seat from Aunt Lois, the Fisher Price Dragon from Grandpa and Grandma Burnette and a few Little People presents from Mommy and Daddy. Then it was time for the big gift that Mommy and Daddy have been planning for since LAST Christmas, but I was too young for it then. The 4-wheel battery-powered quad. I got on it right away and hit the button and away I went... right into the hallway wall. With a little steering help from daddy, I continued down the hall and rode all the way to my room and back again. Then it was time for another present, I sure do love opening presents. When mine were all done, Daddy opened his - or tried to. I threw a fit and wanted to tear the paper off. I was distracted by a box with tissue paper. After the presents were opened, I kept looking around the back of the tree for more. I even said "more" and used my sign language to convey that there should be more. I even brought out the "please" with the sign language for that! She was pretty patient in between presents while she waited for either daddy or mommy to get the toys out of the box, she'd play with them a little and then go back for another present. I even liked getting clothes, which I did from Pa and Nancy, Aunt Lois, Niki and Mommy.

Thank you very much to all that sent warm wishes for a happy Christmas and sent Zoe presents - you helped make our first Christmas in Arizona special and we felt a little closer to all of you. We love you!
