Finally, MOM!

Early this morning when Zoe woke up, she finally said "Mom". It was 5am, I went in to get her and as I was carrying her back to my room, she said "Mom - Mom".

Too precious!

Correction - this wasn't Zoe's first word, just one I've been waiting to hear. She says DaDa, but prefers to call her Dad "Dad" or "D". She makes all sorts of noises, I'm sure she's trying to tell us something, we just don't speak her language yet.

The other night we started teaching her the sign for "more" to be used when she's in her highchair eating her veggie/fruit puffs. She has signed "more" several times and gets pretty excited when she actually gets another in response.

That is too cute, usually they say Da Da first, (easier) but you hit the jackpot. Mom. wow.

The best is yet to come.

Whoops... this wasn't her first word, just the first I decided to say anything about. She's been saying "D" or "Dad" for a while now.
