Thursday night, Zoe was making mommy and daddy laugh so hard. She would look at Lannie, our dog, and just squeel and laugh and make funny noises. It's like she was trying to get Lannie's attention. No matter where we were holding her, she'd look around for the dog. Lannie loves her dearly, you can tell because she'll sneak in Zoe's room and grab a sock or other article of clothing out of her laundry and bring it to the couch to lay beside her. She never chews anything of Zoe's, just wants it near her. Lannie keeps her distance, mostly. She'll come up and smell Zoe when we arrive home, she'll watch her from a distance, but just doesn't get too close. Of course, if someone new or unfamiliar comes to the house, she's right beside Zoe to protect her.
Later in the evening, Daddy sat in front of her and would look around and not directly at her. She started squeeling and laughing to get his attention, too. And let me tell you, this girl can squeel LOUD! She's just too funny and was so much fun last night! Dave and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.
